TBD Forest

In 2019, TBD decided to put its money where its mouth is and go carbon neutral. We ended up being carbon positive and plants more than 1,000 trees (we even had our own ‘Rubbish Artist’ who turned trash into art on the day too). In 2021, we’re going carbon positive from the off and while our forest doesn’t quite look like the one above yet, there are now over 1,500 trees that weren’t in Madagascar before TBD came along and we think that’s pretty cool.

Every 2021 ticket bought means at least one tree gets planted (and some mean a lot more do). Thanks to the smart cookies at Ecologi and Future Strategy Club we’re making sure we only impact minds and actions, not the Earth. So far, we’ve reduced +18.17 tonnes of carbon and continue to grow the forest with donations if speakers cannot accept speaker fees, purchases from the new TBD merch store, through sponsors and other mechanics.

Madagascar, 2020

More than 90% of Madagascar’s original forests have been destroyed, displacing entire animal species and taking away the Malagasy’s ability to farm and live on the land. The TBD Forest has mainly helped this project but - as the project is nearly completed - we’ll be moving on to support new projects through Ecologi in 2021 and beyond.

Want to plant your own forest or donate to the TBD Forest?

We don’t blame you. Donate here or email Elliot Croad, the co-Founder of Ecologi and say we sent you. ;)
