A research affiliate at Cambridge’s Centre for the Study of Existential Risk, he investigates climate change, emerging technologies and civilisational breakdowns. He is also an honorary lecturer at the Australian National University, holds a PhD in international relations, and has worked as a senior economist at Vivid Economics.
